Who We are
We are two sisters, born in Serbia, raised in a home where music and creativity was a way of life. From a young age, our world was shaped by women of remarkable presence, our grandmother, a celebrated singer/artist in former Yugoslavia, and our mother, whose innate sense of style left a lasting impression. They both sewed their own garment pieces, putting their own twist and detail to every unique look. This translated to our way of life, beginning with our mother who dressed us with care and intention. Looking back, the women who raised us were our first lesson in elegance.
As children, just 11 and 6, we transformed scarves and wrap skirts into makeshift gowns, hosting fashion shows on our childhood balcony for family and friends. Our imagination was boundless, and so was our passion for beauty, movement, and self expression.
In 1999, as conflict swept through our homeland, we made the life changing move to the United States. Even as we adapted to a new culture, fashion remained our constant. We worked in fashion business for over 15 years, from backstage of fashion shows, photoshoot sets, to retail and personal styling. We found ourselves continuously drawn to the art of dressing women well and making them feel their best.
When the world paused during the pandemic, we finally gave ourselves permission to create something of our own. With time, courage, and a quiet resolve, our brand was born. Four years, countless sketches and ideas, and one dream later, we brought our first dress to life, a silhouette that drapes with intention, structure, and grace. A modern nod to our childhood creations, and a tribute to the elegant women who shaped us.
Each piece we present is a celebration of femininity, an offering of beauty, strength, and softness. We hope you feel that when you slip into one of our dresses. We hope it makes you pause, and feel the power that you are.
